How long have you liked writing songs? Why do you do it? And any tips you've got for us who like writing songs?

Well, good question! I started writing songs years ago, but I only noticed my talent 2 years ago.
It started off when I had a bad lesson, (some'll know her as mrs bourban), My care officer, Mr Thomas, told me to write about what happened. I walked off to my room and started thinking.....
I decided to write a song, I'll post it soon, It's called "HOLLOW". After writing it, I was chuffed!!! That evening I wrote some more songs, which arent so good..... No one'll ever see them, theyre called Typical Punk and Every Dreamer. But here I am 2 and a bit years on, with my own lyrics site!!

Tips? Well, write from your heart, dont copy anybody else and you don't necessarily have to rhyme. When I'm really emotional, I find that I'm at my best.
